Pacific Continental Engines was founded at Van Nuys Airport in 1961 by Justus 'Jud' Jackson after service in two wars. PCE has held FAA Repair Station Certificate TZ3R885L continuously since 1962, overhauling and maintaining every Continental and Lycoming piston engine family flown in general aviation. The shop has moved from its original Van Nuys home base, to Whiteman Airport, to its current Simi Valley repair station, but the customer relationships and the institutional knowledge have never been interrupted.
